English Touring Opera: Eugene Onegin and Seraglio

The group returns for one weekend to launch its Spring tour of two new productions, composed by Tchaikovsky and Mozart.

The Four Seasons

Version Theatre presents Arnold Wesker’s play about two people scarred by previous relationships, who agree to commit one year to each other and learn painful lessons in the process.

Abolition 07
Until July 14, Hackney Museum, Reading Lane.
The museum presents an exhibition to commemorate the bicentenary of the abolition of the transatlantic slave trade. The collection will look at the history of slavery and the abolitionist movement in the local area.

Happy Birthday Miffy
Until March 18, V&A Museum of Childhood, Cambridge Heath Road.
This family exhibition showcases over 100 pieces of art featuring Miffy, alongside personal letters and photographs of the cartoon’s creator, Dick Bruna.

Sonic Sound Maps

The Building Exploratory group and audio artist Brown Sierra present a free family workshop exploring the way sounds shape our environment.

Swatch Alternative Fashion Week
March 19-23, new Spitalfields Traders Market, Brushfield Street.
Over 60 designers present their work in catwalk shows accompanied by contemporary live jazz performances. The shows start at 1:15pm daily. A fashion market will open from midday to 3pm.
